History

CURA HOME was founded in 2022 by Joe Thampi, whose passion for product design and quality craftsmanship led him to explore the world of furniture retail. After a short stint in Deloitte M&A, he ventured into furniture retailing, only to find that the production quality from vendors was far from satisfactory. Driven by a desire to create better products, he took a bold step—building his own design team to craft exclusive, high-quality furniture that met his exacting standards.

To bring these designs to life, he acquired and modernized a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, integrating cutting-edge CNC technology with skilled craftsmanship. This move ensured that CURA HOME could control every aspect of production, from design to execution, delivering furniture that embodies precision, authenticity, and world-class quality. Today, CURA HOME stands as a brand that blends innovation, sustainability, and timeless design, offering customers furniture that is both beautiful and built to last.
